We are delighted to partner with a well-established FMCG business, to lead the search for a Materials Supply Chain Lead. Our client has multiple sites in the UK and continues to maintain market leadership across several categories.

Our client is looking for an influential Supply Chain leader to help straighten their London operation.

As Materials Supply Chain Lead, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring the materials team to meet production plans and schedules, whilst minimising cost and waste to the business. To do this, you’ll need to demonstrate sound knowledge of OPEX and its application in optimising production planning.

You will be required to have a real gravitas and the confidence to present results, ideas, and plans up to board level and have the ability to work with various levels of the business.

You will also play a key part in the business drive to embed a Continuous Improvement culture across the site.

In order to be successful in this role, you’ll need to have previous supply chain leadership experience within the FMCG industry, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will ideally have a degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a relevant discipline. It will be advantageous to have qualifications across HACCP, IOSH, and food safety.
