Are you looking to develop your career within the food production industry as a Shift Manager? If so, we have just the role for you!

We are looking for a Shift Manager to join the team of a well-invested food production facility in the Hertfordshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join a large, successful organisation with a well-established reputation in the industry.

The role involves leading a team of approximately 40 staff, overseeing the incoming goods and stock management, high care meal assembly, low care pick and pack and final despatch. The successful professional will have full autonomy for the site’s operations and report directly to the Factory Manager.

We are looking for someone with solid leadership ability and experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to set their own targets and take responsibility. Ideally you should have experience in the fresh chilled sector.

This role is working Monday – Friday (days) but we have similar roles working for the same business with different shift patterns including Nights and 4on4off.
