Join a fast-paced food procurement business as the Senior Buyer. They provide innovative and unique procurement solutions.

As Senior Buyer you’ll report directly into the Head of Operations. This role offers the opportunity to work part time or term time in a fast-paced procurement business where you’ll be responsible for contract and supplier management.

The role will suit an experienced Buyer within the UK food or FMCG sectors who is a great communicator, can develop strong relationships with all stakeholders, and work cross-functionally to ensure budgets are met and savings are delivered.

Day-to-day you’ll ensure that suppliers adhere to contractual KPI’s and other deliverables including supporting sustainability and other Government initiatives. You’ll engage with a wide range of stakeholders including Department of Health and Social Care, Business Services Authority and Supply Chain.

Working with the Governance team you will be involved and/or manage appropriate stages of the Food Procurement Framework. You’ll work from strategy definition and creation to the tendering process and launch, through to supplier relationship management and continuous improvement. You’ll also contribute to the team’s continued success by building insight for negotiations and market knowledge and conducting industry analysis in a highly progressive and fast-paced environment.
