Here you’ll be developing innovative new products with a focus on health and nutrition. You’ll be creating delicious new concepts for retail customers and leading brands within the product category.

The role involves taking projects through from the initial brief stage, researching trends and recipe development. You’ll be hands-on in the development kitchen, perfecting recipes and ensuring products meet nutritional and commercial targets. You’ll ensure products are thoroughly tested and fully documented with all nutritional data and costings. Once approved, you’ll be involved in factory trials to take products through to launch.

Throughout you’ll working closely with your NPD colleagues to ensure projects follow the stage and gate process and customers are kept well-informed of progress. You’ll also work closely with colleagues in the factory and Technical, Commercial, Purchasing and Packaging teams.

This role suits a highly organised and methodical person who can build strong working relationships with others. Passionate about food, you’ll love developing high quality tasty concepts and have a keen interest in food trends and nutrition.

You’ll get to work with high-profile innovative brands and retail customers and see your finished products on the supermarket shelves. You’ll be joining a talented and supportive team and work with a manager highly rated for mentoring and developing others.

For this role, you will need to have –

• Experience working in an NPD department with knowledge of the concept to launch process
• Driving licence and car – the role involves travel between sites
• Full right to work in the UK – this is a permanent role and visa sponsorship isn’t available
