Culinary-led product development opportunity with great customer exposure and support to grow your career.

As NPD Technologist here, you’ll be working on diverse projects in foodie-led categories.

You’ll be joining a leading food business that develops innovative fresh products you’ll be familiar with on the supermarket shelves. They have a broad portfolio of products with a particular focus on health and nutrition. It’s a chance to work across a wide range of products and take inspiration from a variety of world cuisines. You’ll get to use your interest in food trends to develop new concepts that consumers love and get the pride of seeing your products in the major supermarkets.

Day to day you’ll be developing recipes and samples in the development kitchen, attending customer meetings and presentations, and getting into the factory to take concepts through trials to launch. You’ll get exposure to a range of UK retail customers and their ways of working. You’ll get to learn about various manufacturing processes across their broad range of products.

This role would suit an existing NPD Technologist looking to move into a more innovative, foodie category. Or it’s a great opportunity for a recent graduate with a placement year spent in NPD. You’ll benefit from superb training, support, and exposure to kick-start your career in food development.

You’ll be joining a close-knit, friendly NPD team that works collaboratively together and with different business functions, particularly the Commercial, Technical and Operations teams.

This is a site-based role, in a beautiful location that you’ll need a car to reach. It’s a full-time permanent role working Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm. You’ll need the right to work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available.
