This Materials Planning Manager is a great role for someone who is confident and able to deliver to a plan.

As the interim Materials Planning Manager, you will need to hit the ground running. You will have worked for many food manufacturers or FMCG businesses where pace is key.

As with any short shelf-life product the key to success is delivering to the plan. This business has a great reputation and always delivers to the highest standards. You will have a team of three reporting into you so management experience and the ability to influence those around you will be important here.

You will work closely with production and supply chain colleagues to ensure that all regions deliver to target. The successful professional will have a vast amount of experience and will be able to see the bigger picture.

As the Interim Materials Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the raw materials within the business ensuring they are where they need to be to allow the rest of the business to deliver the finished product to the customers. You will be confident in liaising with various departments within the business including but not limited to Purchasing, Supply chain and Production.

You will have worked in a variety of fast-paced manufacturers and be able to identify and suggest changes where necessary. Another important part of this role is the ability to manage the availability of raw materials with the wastage, striking a fine balance to ensure minimal losses and downtime.
