We are looking for an experienced Head of Production to join a well-established food business and lead all production activities within the factory.

As Head of Production, you will be accountable for the smooth and efficient running of the factory, ensuring quality control, health & safety, and food safety compliance in line with current BRC standards.

You will be a driving force in ensuring a Continuous Improvement culture across the factory, and an advocate of operations excellence.

You will be an influential leader offering coaching and mentorship to the team where required.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a confident decision maker, able to make quick and accurate decisions, and be comfortable with ensuring the purchase, use and maintenance of all equipment including plant, machinery, and PPE.

In addition, you must have a solid commitment to ensuring production KPIs are achieved and promoting food safety, quality, legality, and authenticity within the role.

To be considered for this role you must have a proven track record of managing a large team effectively in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, ideally meat industry, and demonstrate your ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve business objectives.
