It’s a hybrid role, where you can choose to be based at the factory site or one of the RDCs, both in the West Midlands. Effectively though, you’ll be out and about, auditing RDCs and warehousing, suppliers and retail outlets, so a Lead Auditor qualification and extensive auditing experience are key.

So where are you now and what are you doing? A foodservice background will work well here. Food Safety Manager, Compliance Manager Supplier Assurance Manager are all likely roles which will translate well.

Ideally, we’re looking for a food science or similar degree, with HACCP qualifications, someone with experience of the BRCGS standards for food usage and storage.

It’s a role where you’ll need to build strong working relationships, to upskill non-technical members of the divisional team, investigate complaints, trace root cause through supply chain and drive the food safety culture group wide.
