An exciting Business Development Manager role bringing a great plant-based brand to the UK & Irish Foodservice and OOH market.

This European plant-based brand have recruited their UK Managing Director and now looking to take the UK and Irish market by storm and recruit a team of specialists to be part of that growth. They have a great portfolio of chilled and frozen products across a number of categories.

This role is to manage the Foodservice channel. You will scope and manage the opportunity that exists across QSR, contract catering, wholesale as well as B2B manufacturing. This requires the ability to build a new business pipeline and engage with new customers, however the range of products and the innovation opportunities are huge. The variety of this role will require you to build relationships with Chefs and culinary departments but also be happy presenting to Buyers and Directors of larger accounts.

The business has selected London as their main office hub, however this role will be home based, allowing you to be with the customer, working from home but also spending time with colleagues as and when required.

To be successful in this role, you will

• Have a demonstrable track record in foodservice sectors – end user engagement is key to the success
• Be comfortable in a new business environment as well as developing relationships
• Be a foodie and ideally have a personal affiliation with the plant-based movement and all the benefits that brings to our health and planet
• Also be entrepreneurial in your approach and welcome the flexibility that working in a start-up requires
