Opportunity to deliver category strategies, support own brand innovation and NPD whilst identifying range gaps as a Category Executive for a UK Food and Drink wholesaler.
As Category Executive you will report into the Category Manager / Head of Food and Drink and work within the Commercial Category team.
The Category Executive role will give you the opportunity to develop your career with a leading wholesaler who suppliers the foodservice market. They offer an extensive range of quality products across all product categories and supply Hotels, Pubs, Restaurants, Coffee shops, Education, Healthcare, Care homes, Business and Industry, Travel and Leisure etc.
In this role you’ll be working in a business with an “open door policy” which is led by research and insights across food trends, latest technology, and market data.
You’ll be involved across all product categories and have full responsibility for the insight generation of your Food and Drink category range reviews along with supporting own brand NPD and identifying gaps in the range. You’ll also manage your category’s collateral and work closely with the marketing team to ensure that it is implemented to your standards.
Your expertise in interpreting market data will be essential as you deep dive into your product category, your competitors, and your customers across multiple sectors of the industry.
You’ll need to have product marketing experience in either the UK foodservice or food retail markets, experience in developing and delivering insight-based category strategy along with marketing qualifications, Business or Marketing degree, CIM.
