As Buyer you’ll report directly into the Category Manager to support the development of the end-to-end procurement process for a chilled category.

The role will suit a commercial and results driven Junior Buyer with experience within the UK food or FMCG sectors.

Joining this fast-paced procurement business will provide you with exposure to innovative and unique procurement solutions where you’ll be working on a hybrid basis with two days in the office each week.

Day-to-day you’ll support the chilled category in the team where you will be planning, preparing for negotiation, and writing contract renewals as well as supporting and scheduling supplier relationships. Commercially you’ll support the overarching strategy to drive volume growth, negotiate sustainable terms, and be key to driving their CSR commitments along with supporting key stakeholders with their food strategies.

To be considered for this role you’ll need procurement experience in the UK food or FMCG sectors, be competent with procurement systems, have good analytical and Excel skills, and be comfortable working in a pressurised, deadline driven environment.
