Our client – a leading multi-site food manufacturing business, has an opportunity for an HR generalist with strong recruitment experience to join their busy HR function. You will need previous HR/Recruitment Officer or equivalent experience to apply for this Interim HR/Recruitment Officer role.
You’ll support a fast-paced food manufacturing facility to cover a 12 month period of planned absence. As you’d expect within a food manufacturing business it is essential that you are accustomed with the normal day to day activities around grievances, disciplinaries and recruitment and have the ability to advise Department Managers within the business.
It is essential that you enjoy the pace and ever changing priorities of any FMCG manufacturing environment. Recruitment is a key daily element of this role, therefore strong experience in this area is essential. This means sourcing and attracting employees through LinkedIn, advertising, head hunting etc. and devising innovative ways to find new skilled talent for the business. During peak manufacturing periods, agency staff are used to meet the demands of production, therefore experience of this recruitment and on-boarding process would be beneficial. This role reports to the HR Manager and will have accountability for supporting and coaching a small HR team.
