Rachel has worked in recruitment for 14 years and in recent years has specialised in Product Development and R&D roles. This has allowed her to become extremely well-networked with clients and candidates alike and has allowed her to truly understand the needs of both.
Key for Rachel is getting to know both parties. Understanding what the client is looking for and really knowing their business while also ensuring the right fit for candidates. Rachel ensures she has the best interest of both parties to ensure long-term success.
Rachel has seen a dramatic change this year, as have we all, in the roles and businesses she is working with. Some key areas have certainly been hard hit, but Rachel is keeping busy with new and exciting roles, particularly in plant based and packaging innovation areas of product development.
Having worked on roles from Director level to new graduates, Rachel has a broad knowledge that covers the whole Development process within a business. Supporting some amazing blue chip organisations and some equally as impressive start ups to develop their team and inevitably develop some delicious award-winning products.
Throughout Rachel’s career she has taken a keen interest in exploring new areas and trends and her depth of knowledge in the industry has only strengthened her love of food and drink. At home she loves exploring new recipes and products. Currently she is trying recipes from Gaz Oakley’s Vegan 100 and hoping to get Nigella’s Cook, Eat, Repeat for Christmas. She is enjoying trying out the new plant-based brands on the market such as Naked Glory, Meatless Farm and THIS and keeping a close eye on other up and coming brands.
