We’re looking for a Supplier Technical Manager to join a highly regarded food business which is growing from strength to strength. Within this newly created position you’ll have the opportunity to make the role your own with realistic opportunities to enhance your career due to the company’s rapid growth and focus on internal talent for progression.

Reporting to the Head of Technical you will be tasked with improving supplier management, working across a broad range of categories and a large volume of SKU’s, whilst taking responsibility for a small team. This will be a hands on and varied role within a fast paced business that recognises and rewards achievement, meaning you can have a fulfilling job that can offer you challenge, stability and longevity.

The ideal person will be degree educated, or equivalent within a food related discipline with Technical Management and supplier approval auditing experience gained within a food manufacturing, food service or food retail environment. You’ll need drive and enthusiasm with the ability to problem solve and make decisions autonomously. There is a need to develop relationships internally and externally so you will have effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.

This role is primarily based on site in South Lincolnshire, with some flexibility for home working, ability to travel to UK suppliers once or twice per week is required.
