The role of Sous Chef is to bring organisation, creativity, and leadership to a brigade. This particular role also offers investment from new owners, as they look to take a successful hotel to the next level.
With a new owner and management structure coming into this business, the possibilities are plentiful. The venue has a loyal customer base from business travellers, weekend tourists to the quaint and picturesque town on the edge of the Cotswolds. Its attractive for a whole host of reasons. Without doubt, one of the most attractive reasons to make this your next move is the freedom, creative accountability that is afforded to you.
You might be currently working as a Sous Chef or even a Junior Sous or Senior CDP. It might the right time to consider a fresh challenge, to learn from another Head Chef, and work with fresh suppliers. The ability to contribute effectively and creatively to a venue that already boasts two Rosettes should be enough to get in touch with me.
The only requirements we ask for in this position from you are:
- A passion for good food
- Experience working within a busy brigade with good quality produce
- Basic management experience, leading a brigade with another Sous or Head Chef team
- An understanding of provincial ingredients
- A track record of success and professionalism in the workplace
- An ambition to make necessary changes and utilise investment from new owners
