I am Looking for an experienced Site Services Manager to join a market leading FMCG business at their Cambridgeshire site.
I am recruiting for a highly experienced Site Services and Facilities Manager for a Global blue-chip business who have an outstanding reputation within the FMCG industry.
My client is a multi-sited business with a worldwide reach, this forward thinking company manufacturers products across various sectors that are globally recognised, this is an exceptional opportunity to join them at their Cambridgeshire site and take full ownership of Site Services.
As Site Services Manager you will take ownership for all the site service’s compliance and lead a team of 10, taking full responsibility of ensuring your team jobs are completed to an excellent standard.
This job is not for the faint hearted and will take a leader with a real gravitas who can influence the team effectively in all aspects of the job including the continuous improvement and design of the plant, equipment, and infrastructure.
You will be passionate about the development of your team offering coaching and mentoring where applicable. Leading the utilities team to success is a crucial role in keeping the operation running smoothly and efficiently across the plant. Its important that you are highly experienced working with water and effluent treatment, steam, refrigeration, hygienic air handling and compressed air and will offer your technical expertise to the site.
You will manage the quality and environmental compliance across industrial services and will be an advocate of driving health and safety standards for anybody using the plant or equipment.
You will manage existing assets so that they're efficient and compliant and identify opportunities of how to improve the plant and overall business, you will lead various projects identifying energy and water saving opportunities using CI tools and techniques and will help with the budget control and cost data of individual services.
To be considered for this role you will have an excellent understanding of industrial service engineering, building maintenance and have a proven track record of leading a team in a similar role, although my client is an FMCG business other sectors will be considered if you have the appropriate knowledge and skill set.
Ideally you will have a background in leading people who have operated fired pressure systems or other large combustion systems and have a basic knowledge of assets management and AMM system. Ideally you will have a good understanding of local regulatory and statutory requirements across industrial services and environment.
You will have a relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent and ideally be BOAS certified or competent in Industrial Refrigeration Systems.
