Job Description

Are you frustrated with not being allowed to make a difference or feel your ideas are stifled?

This is a Shift Manager role you need to consider – it is not like your current role, where you are frustrated or have no room to grow. This job has all the makings of something different and interesting.

You will be working with a passionate, energetic Production Manager who is full of inspiration and loves to listen to ideas and make improvements, which will allow you to realise your full potential and encourage professional development. You love to be hands-on, this will allow you to build strong relationships with your team of up to 40 staff ensuring a Continuous Improvement culture. Yes, you will also manage the day to day general duties:

  • Planning the shift to meet targets
  • Measuring output, efficiency cost, improvements through KPIS
  • People and performance management
  • Maintaining a H&S culture

This is a rotating 12 hour shift pattern involving day and night shifts, so it is essential you are flexible to work both.

And yes there are all of the usual daily challenges, down times, waste, labour costs, generalist ER issues but this is a supportive and diverse business that lightens the load. Having spent time with many of the employees and personally being treated to a full site tour and introduction to many members of the team I can say it is a friendly, welcoming environment and I wouldn't have a hesitation to recommend them.
