Senior National Account Manager role managing top performing account and providing a unique range of multi-category products.
Having recently recruited a new National Account Controller and a change of Commercial leadership this brilliant team are looking for an experienced Senior National Account Manager to join the team and strengthen their account management of the largest Retail customer.
This business is a multi-site operation across the UK and have recently been acquired by a hugely successful European business that own several exciting and innovative brands. This business provides a truly multi-category range of private label and branded products in both food, health & beauty, and homecare. The culture is one of progression, people development, and ambition to succeed.
You will manage one major customer relationship as well as possible smaller accounts. As you might expect in a Senior National Account Manager position you will manage the relationship but also importantly you look at opportunities for growth and new business development. You will be responsible for formulating customer and category specific sales plans and strategy and work across internal functions to deliver success.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a number of years’ experience is national account management of major grocery retail customers – including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda, M&S or Waitrose
- Currently be working within FMCG manufacturing – ideally food or drink
- License experience would be advantageous
- Finally, you will have enviable commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit to manage your customer relationship
