Senior National Account Manager managing a large retail account worth in excess of £50m.
A role that requires successful experience in food sales in chilled, ambient or frozen categories. You will be naturally engaging, ambitious with a strong work ethic and passion for what you do.
Working for a major player in chilled food manufacturing and Food to Go, this Senior National Account Manager role will take full P&L responsibility for one of the biggest UK grocery retailers. You will be part of a retailer specific team, including an Account Manager, Category Support, dedicated NPD and Finance, reporting in and working very closely with the Account Controller. The pace is fast, the relationship is strong, the account is complex and the category is in growth – which all makes for an interesting opportunity and room to really make your mark.
It is simple but essential, to be considered for this role you must…
- Have current and proven experience in food manufacturing sales
- Presently work at Senior NAM, Commercial Manager or Controller level (possibly in a smaller business)
- Be able to demonstrate relationship management with Senior Buyers in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrison’s, Waitrose, Aldi or M&S
- Finally, and it’s an important one, you must be happy to be in the office (West Sussex) at least 3 days every week. You can stay away (expensed) or relocate with financial support if required.
