This is a great opportunity for an intuitive, driven, people-focused Senior Sales professional. You must be extremely flexible as you will spend your time traveling between the manufacturing sites and head office in the south, as well as visiting retailers in the Midlands and North. Homeworking will also be part of your working week and therefore as long as you are happy to travel for work you could, in theory, be based in the North, Midlands, or South of the UK.
This Senior National Account Manager role will test your commercial skillset and customer-facing skills. This business is at the front of what they do, so if you enjoy pace and challenge this is for you.
You will work closely with the Sales Lead, Finance, R&D, and Category Teams to develop and execute the go-to Market plan for your customers (two of the major retailers). You will have experience building Growth Joint Business Plans and delivering JBP and Budget targets.
This role involves full P&L responsibility for your designated accounts £80m with careful management of risks and opportunities to achieve the budget target.
To apply you will have worked in FMCG sales in the food industry and have experience in customer-facing roles with major retailers. You will need to understand P&L’s and drivers of profitability and have experience in building and implementing a joint business plan.
The ability to work with multiple external and internal stakeholders, categories, and brands to effectively manage workload, opportunities, and priorities is extremely important as well as strong interpersonal skills with a ‘’can do” attitude
