Retail National Account Manager, Plant-based, remote working

A National Account Manager role bringing a great plant-based brand to the UK & Irish retail sector including grocery, online, and convenience.

The business is an established European brand with a range of products across multiple categories and they are ready to launch these products across UK & Ireland.

You will have already started your career in food manufacturing selling products to retail customers. Ideally, you’ll have a breadth of experience across a number of channels including grocery retail, discounters, convenience, and speciality/health food stores.

Reporting to the Head of Sales this role will have full P&L ownership and be responsible for managing the existing and already developed relationships through to identifying new channel opportunities and new customer wins. You will have a great range of products to promote with a well-established and strong manufacturing operation behind you.

You will

• Need to have current experience of working with retail customers in food manufacturing
• Have experience of working across multiple retail channels
• Finally, you’ll be personally aligned to the plant-based message and although you don’t need to vegan you will be on board with everything related to sustainability and healthy choices

Any experience of chilled or frozen categories would be advantageous.
