Fresh, chilled and ready to cook… your next big step into Quality Management in Food Manufacturing.
You’re a food science graduate with a couple of years’ experience in a food manufacturing Quality environment under your belt. You’re brimming with good ideas, you enjoy coaching others and would love the opportunity to have more influence at a grass roots level. This role could well be your answer.
I’m working with a food service manufacturer who operate independently as part of a large FTSE 100 multinational foodservice Group. They are looking for a Quality Manager who will have sole responsibility for a small site, currently with 2 lines, who is capable of leading, managing and motivating Line QAs to really drive food safety and quality standards.
An operational understanding of chilled ready meal production, along with knowledge of food traceability systems and BRC standards are important. You’ll also need a good understanding around microbiology relating to food safety and product life testing.
If you’re keen to develop your leadership and coaching skills, this opportunity could have been written for you. You’ll motivate, coach and develop the Line QAs, monitor and review QMS and HACCP in line with legal requirements, with the authority to implement changes and drive continuous improvements.
Now, back to the bigger picture. What can you expect to gain from the wider Group? Apart from long-term career opportunity, you can access a massive network of skills and experience and use the Training Academy for continuous learning. The beauty of this role is that the small site has a real family feel and will allow you to grow and develop in a supportive and inclusive culture.
