A great opportunity to join a successful, entrepreneurial company supplying the major retailers with bespoke, FMCG and private label products.
As a Purchase Ledger Assistant you will be responsible for inputting invoices, obtaining authorisations, reconciling statements and arranging payments on a day-to-day basis along with maintaining supplier accounts. The support you supply is vital to the business to ensure that invoices are recorded accurately and in line with company procedure to ensure that suppliers are paid within terms to maintain good relationships.
Working closely with the Logistics Purchasing Manager is also essential to ensure that factories are paid on time along with maintain regular communication with the wider teams to ensure that invoices are agreed and signed off so that costs can be controlled.
This business is a supplier into the global retail industry. You will be working for an entrepreneurial business that supplies an innovative range of FMCG products across multiple categories to major retail customers.
This role will suit a confident professional with previous purchase ledger experience who can manage a number of tasks simultaneously and have the ability to reconcile multiple accounts and transactions whilst dealing with multiple companies and inter-company transactions. Excellent communication, reporting and organisational skills are needed with the ability to prioritise work. SAP experience would be an advantage but not essential.
