Consultant: Maxx Armstrong

Difference between a Bond Villain and a Production Planner? Production plans actually work.
You aren't quite taking over the world, nor can you sit stroking a cat whilst laughing menacingly. But, you definitely have to have the intricacies and the master plan to beat all other plans. An eye for detail is crucial for these types of roles, you often start earlier than everyone else but it's essential to ensure that production runs as smoothly as possible.
An orchestra can't play without music, same as a production can't run without a carefully thought out plan. We could think of thousands of metaphors for this role but the fact of the matter is this role is crucial to the manufacturing process, especially when it comes to high risk products. There is little room for error, you know that, yet you have the ability to remain calm and polite even when faced with this.
This role is with one of the country's leading meat manufacturers, so a very fast-paced environment. They are looking for someone with a proven track record of production planning but most importantly someone who is very tech savvy, experience of using excel or specialised production planning software is of critical importance. This role also allows you to work Monday to Friday, so you can have those all-important weekends for those secret world domination plans.
If you have the right experience you know what this role takes and you will know how to do it well. This offers you the opportunity to get into a large business with plenty of room to grow or simply just a new challenge if you feel your career has become stagnant. But, whatever your reason, if this sounds like an opportunity you don't want to miss, apply now.
