I am currently recruiting an exciting new role for a Process Engineer to come and join a rapidly growing FMCG organisation who have a great reputation for really looking after their colleagues.
My client is multi sited business and continues to go through an exciting journey of growth, with backing and huge recent investment they are serious about maintaining their market leading presence not only in the UK but globally!
I am looking for a Process Engineer who ideally has several years’ experience working within the Food Manufacturing, pharmaceutical or finer chemicals sector! (Other FMCG sectors will still be considered). This role is not for the faint-hearted, every day will be different and you will be a pragmatic, hardworking individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment. The role of Process Engineer will need somewhere to be analytically minded!
You will ideally have a Bio Processing / Chemical engineering degree or equivalent, knowledge and experience of fermentation or biochemical processes is highly desirable.
As a Process Engineer who will provide support to the companies’ assets and infrastructure across site to optimise and improve existing plant performance and deliver new facilities to an excellent standard.
Your role will be to provide your technical expertise in the core processes used across site, working closely with the maintenance team with CI and problem solving being a key driver!
You will play a pivotal role in improvement projects investigating ways to improve efficiencies and processes across site, you will be working with fermenters, chillers and lots of different types of machinery on a daily basis, other projects you will be heavily instrumental in will be the likes of: waste streams management, asset management, equipment and capital project management across design, construction and commissioning!
You will need to have a keen eye for CI for this role, any Continuous Improvement tools and techniques you have used will be highly advantageous, it’s a given that you will always be driving Food Quality and Health and Safety across the site at all times! (HAZOP, HACCP, ISO9000 ETC.)
Lastly, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team as well as autonomously, Progression is very realistic for the ambitious and coaching and training is on offer to!
