NPD Manager (Chef experience), Greater Manchester

If you’re a Senior Development Chef looking for that next step, this is an NPD Manager position that you will relish getting your teeth stuck into.

This is an opportunity to work amongst a range of customer product categories which include meal solutions, meat alternatives, added value and coated meat, and plant proteins. The role is diverse and highly creative for a Senior Development Chef or Development Manager that needs to do more.

If you’re stuck, bored, or simply frustrated with your current role offering little to no excitement or sense of achievement, then this could be the answer. This NPD Manager role will allow you to manage a small team (Chefs, Technologists, Kitchen Assistant) in bringing together briefs from Foodservice, Grocery retail, and branded meal businesses.

Working across a range of products for a solid customer portfolio means you will bring all of your creative and leadership skills to good use.

We’re hoping you have a genuine desire to make some impactful contributions, and as such you’ll bring with you an ability to focus on critical paths. Managing the work flow of your team whilst collaborating with a number of colleagues across departments (Purchasing, Technical, Production, Marketing, and Engineering).

Your experience to date working with a variety of food retailers is essential. Coming from a Development Chef background you will know how to manage the full NPD Process, from customer presentations and managing briefings, ideation, trial runs, first production runs, and working alongside commercial and purchasing on sourcing suppliers, whilst building relationships throughout.
