The business requires a menu developer, designer and consultant who can take a customer on a culinary journey. Without sounding trite, the role really will be consultative and crucial in developing a client’s vision into a commercial reality for their restaurant brand.

If you’re working within creative food design, and you are a strong presenter of commercial concepts that meet the brief, this is a sound move for your career.

We know there will be a bounce in hospitality this Spring and Summer. This new role is proving that there’s a hunger and desire from the F&B world to grow and get better as we emerge from this pandemic. This business has seen that from the enquiries and new projects they have been engaging with since late 2020.

This extraordinary business, is a creative foodservice consultancy, that works with some of the biggest restaurant chains and freshest challenger brands in the UK’s hospitality sector. They provide innovations and commercial strategies to brand new restaurants through to multi-site brands looking for a competitive edge. Your role is to manage the creative process with a creative team of Chefs and, brand experts and Technologists. You’ll deliver concepts, new menu additions, LTO’s and much more, to suit the time of year, demographic and price points for contemporary clients that range from startups to international restaurant brands.

They’re growing, quickly, thus they have a need for someone who knows what it is to work with multi-site venues, within pressure kitchen environments where footfall and covers are high. Experience within QSRs, Casual Dining and Branded Chains, developing menus and training manuals will be important here. But, as important is the ability to know what’s next; The trends within hospitality, retail and global food markets. Knowing what’s coming in hot from street vendors to international food trends, will provide the foundation for your creativity.

You’ll take control for each project, leading the menu designs, creating concept presentations, continuously communicating with your team and the clients. Being organised and on-point with your time management will be crucial.

Travel’s involved too. You’ll stay away the odd month as you work on site with clients. Working in development kitchens, supplier’s sites, and offices. Honestly, no two days will be the same. You’ve heard that a million times, but its so true in this role. You’ll have numerous projects on the go at any one time… some will be at the briefing stage whilst others are about to go live. If you’re bored in this role, you’ll need your pulse checking!
