Night Shift Production Manager, Northern Ireland

£35,000 - £42,000 per annum

Apply for this position

Excellent opportunity for a Night Shift Manager to work for a reputable Food Manufacturing company who produce world class products.

My client is an award-winning FMCG business who has an exceptional portfolio of high-end (and very delicious) products that you can see in some of the major retailers. With recent investment across the site and strong leadership in place this is an excellent opportunity to join a business as they continue to grow.

My client has exciting plans in place for the business, so this really is an ideal time to join a company and be a part of their journey!

As a Shift Manager you will have real gravitas and the leadership qualities to influence a team to strive for excellence. You will have a hands-on management style and must be willing to ‘muck in’ and help your team achieve KPIs within dedicated time frames. This role is not for the faint-hearted you must be willing to lead from the front whilst being the driving force in ensuring World Class Manufacturing is delivered across the site.

Ideally, you will have experience working within the Food Manufacturing industry and will have first-hand experience working with fast-paced bakeries, other FMCG sectors will be considered also.

You will often be the most senior individual on shift so you take the lead in ensuring food safety and health & safety regulations are being adhered to! (Health and Safety / Food Safety / HACCP qualifications will be advantageous).

After seeing the site myself and taking the brief from the Head of Operations it was evident that this role plays a key part in the successful running of production for the business, as the Shift Manager you must have a ‘get the job done’ attitude and have strong communications skills, as you will be working closely with engineering, technical and other teams to ensure the smooth running of your shift.

Experience within Continuous Improvement is not essential but highly desirable! However, always thinking of ways to improve the shift and the business IS absolutely essential!

You will coach, train and lead by example implementing a strong people culture across the site and most importantly making the working environment safe and happy.

This really is an excellent role for somebody to join the business, improve the production shift and really make this opportunity your own. Progression is certainly realistic for ambitious individuals and you will have the opportunity to work closely with a highly skilled leadership team!
