This impressive and passionate food business is now looking for a National Account Manager to drive and develop sales within B2B food manufacturing.
This is genuinely a unique and exciting opportunity within national account management for a driven and dynamic individual to join the commercial team. This business unit is small but a successful division of a global food manufacturer, which is going from strength to strength in the UK market. As the sole National Account Manager you will report directly to the Business Unit Head and work closely to develop new business opportunities across B2B food manufacturing and foodservice sectors.
Key accountabilities for the role include;-
- Produce and agree customer and channel plans aligned to the strategy to ensure volume, distribution, profit and payment targets are met
- Delivery of creative market-leading solutions to drive business into key target customers
- Develop strong rapport and build relationships with key customers and understand and pre-empt their needs
- Positively represent the business
- Engage with customer-facing and cross-functional teams by building solid working relationships
- Closely follow trends and actively seek ideas for new products and categories
As the ideal candidate for National Account Manager you must have a proven track record within food sales, with a strong commercial background and previous P&L responsibility. You will have a good understanding and demonstrable experience of working in a B2B sales channel, preferably with industrial desserts or bakery manufacturing. With previous experience of customer-facing sales you will be positive, enthusiastic and resilient with strong problem-solving skills.
Finally, a passion for food and 'can-do' attitude are essential to thrive in this exciting and dedicated business.
