We are looking for a Food Scientist with in-depth knowledge of meat ingredients and processing methods for this diverse role.
Here you will be identifying, developing, and implementing long-term product and process innovations.
This will involve exploring new technology solutions and working with cross-functional teams to drive data and insights-driven projects forward.
You’ll be joining a progressive food business that invests heavily in R&D. They already have an impressive portfolio of products and are constantly pushing the boundaries in new product innovation.

There’s lots of variety in this position. You’ll be investigating new processes and technologies, working with suppliers and outside agencies. You’ll bring this knowledge into the business, presenting ideas and communicating at all levels. You’ll support the R&D and factory teams on specific projects, using your process development expertise.
This position will suit a positive and influential individual who can work collaboratively across the business. An excellent project manager and multi-tasker with attention to detail. You’ll need a Food Science or related degree along with proven experience in R&D within a food manufacturing environment.
The role is based in the North-West of England with some travel to manufacturing sites and suppliers.
