An Account Manager role offering key customer management and new sales within a fast-growth category and innovative Foodservice customers.

This established high quality and innovative food importer have an excellent reputation with customers. They have a great heritage, a clear USP, and a well-established client base in the casual dining and QSR sector.

This is a unique role that offers the stability and relationship management aspects of key account management but also the variety and pace of a new sales role. Essentially your time will be split between managing a large key customer in major growth as well as identifying the next target customers within casual dining.

The business is part of a large international group but still small enough as a team to offer agile decision making and an entrepreneurial approach to business.

The category still offers huge potential for growth across the pub chains, within the travel sector, and other channels of Foodservice and OOH.

The location is Surrey and will be a hybrid working model of home and office.

To be successful in this Key Account Manager role you

  • Will have current experience in the food sector – across Ambient, chilled, or frozen
  • Will be an expert in the Foodservice sector with experience in casual dining, hospitality, QSR, pub chains, travel, or coffee shops
  • Must be able to demonstrate a mix of skills in both account management and new customer sales
  • Finally must have good communication skills, a flair for negotiation, and a passion for the food sector
