£40,000 - £45,000 per annum (base), 25% Bonus Plus Benefits

A UK based sales role with extensive international travel.
You will have started your sales career within food or FMCG industries managing customer relationships within retail, foodservice, wholesale, contract catering or convenience sectors.
You will have proven your sales capabilities within new business development against target; you will have handled credit management and have a keen eye for customer service levels and key account development.
The unique aspect of this role is the opportunity and requirement to travel across international territories. You can expect to spend one week out of every six travelling and staying away. 100% of your sales territory and customer accounts will be outside of the UK within supermarket retailers and distributors.
To give you a flavour of the role, responsibilities will include;
- Strategy planning new business across territories, markets and specific customers and managing all sales leads
- Negotiate trading terms
- Representing the company at events and trade exhibitions, as well as sales presentations
- Implement and delivery account management strategy for each customer
- Delivering high levels of customer service
- Internal meetings as part of the international business strategy
You will be working for a real international and export specialist, they are leaders in what they do and importantly have all systems and processes in place to allow for individuals to shine and build great relationships with their customers. They know food and drink brands and you will have a wealth of experience in the team around you to support your sales activities as well as your long-term growth and development.
Most importantly you must be a BDM, Sales Executive or Sales Manager within food, drink or FMCG and you must be available to travel and work outside of the UK on a regular basis.
