If you’re working within New Product Development as a Chef, and you’re innovating with ingredients and meal ideas that will become tomorrow’s best seller, this is for you. OR you’re not in NPD yet, but have the culinary capability to make the move, and the desire to enhance your career in terms of longevity, work-life balance, and achievements… please, read on too. This position is both fascinating and career defining so long as you really want to make an impact.

What’s needed here, is passion, desire and a fascination with all things food. Yes we would ideally prefer a Chef who already understands the gate processes, and critical paths of product development for major retailers and restaurant groups. We would also encourage those that are strong communicators and able to present ideas to colleagues and customers. But if you have the will to learn and bring your food nuttiness to the party, then you’re invited.

We’re looking to you, for creativity, insights, and a genuine passion to create a range of meat products for customers all over Ireland and the UK. Dealing with well-known casual dining brands, pub groups, and grocery retailers for chilled added value meat products is your primary function here.

Working with the Senior Development Chef, alongside Specifications Technologists, a Culinary Insights Lead, and an Innovation Manager, you will be well supported as you collaborate on the next best seller. Running innovation days, working through consumer insights, and leading sensory taste panels – you’ll be busy but engaged.

It’s a big team; Ingredient suppliers, production teams, purchasing, marketing colleagues, and the technical department will be your new best friends as you merge modern food trends (your on-going obsession) with commercially viable products MEATing customer demands.
