HR Manager, Suffolk
County / State: Suffolk
Category: Human Resources
Consultant: Lucy McKinna-Whitby
Start date: Asap
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Managing HR in a small, manufacturing site with all the benefits of a group culture and all the independence of working in a satellite business.
This is the perfect opportunity for a junior HR professional to spread their wings or an experienced HR Manager to join an established small team.
Our client has an excellent approach to managing its employees. They really do care about their staff and it would be your task to ensure that this culture is maintained and supported by the management team.
If you are successful, you will be the most senior HR person on site. This business is part of a larger, multi-site company so you will report in to the HR Director of the group, but on a day to day basis you will be a part of the senior management team reporting in to the Site Director.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has worked in the food manufacturing industry already. The pace and intricacies of this environment require specific skills which are best brought to the business rather than having to learn the basics on the job.
The fundamentals of this role are:-
Possessing an excellent understanding of Employment Law,
Experience and competency in advising and managing grievances
To support the culture of the business where successes are rewarded and failures learnt from
To work collaboratively with the Trade Union - continuously striving to enhance relations
If you are in a similar level of role and are simply looking for a change and the opportunity to join an established, benevolent employer, then look no further.
Alternatively, if you are working at a level where the logical next step would be HR Manager and you have experience of having dealt with all of the above then we would also love to hear from you.
Send your CV in to us today and let's talk!
