You may be interested in this new HRD role that will offer you a clear goal and that is to create and embed a first-class People agenda.

There is a decent foundation for you; an established business that has a number of commercial wins with new and existing customers.

They recognise there is significant scope and opportunity for a heavy hitting HRD to underpin these foundations.

This HR Director role will achieve this by:

1) assessing the short term situation and addressing the fundamentals with support from the CEO to create a framework for success.

2) the longer term strategic approach that you will be taking the lead on.

The business is clear with what they are looking for which is a heavy hitting strategic HR Director. You will need to have manufacturing/blue collar experience, ideally within a food manufacturing facility and either large single site of multi-site. You will need to demonstrate experience of leading a large team of HR professionals across general HR, L&D and recruitment, and how you have developed a successful people plan, rolled out through these teams. An external network and CIPD progression will also be important.

As indicated above, change is a large element of this role and this will be discussed at interview. However, with the future plans of the business this is a great opportunity to really make a name for yourself with a business that will be supportive of your ideas.
