Head of Customer Service opportunity within a fantastic food business, manage guide and build the team and process for the future.

As new Head of Customer Service this is a high-profile role and great opportunity to join this business as a leader who will affect change, implement new process and where required transform the current customer service operation.

The business is a premium food provider of branded and private label products into supermarkets as well as well-known restaurant chains and pubs across the UK. They have a fantastic range of delicious and high-quality products and as a business have an enviable reputation with their customers.

This company are currently experiencing significant growth and as a senior leader this role will develop and deliver a strategy that will enable the team to flourish and succeed. The team are responsible for all aspects of customer service including inbound and outbound customer management, export management, order entry and processing, new customer set up and much more. The customer service team are a vital resource for this business and work closely with the sales team to deliver.

To be successful in this role it is vital that you have current experience in managing people and leading a Customer Service Team.

  • Ideally you will be working for a business within Food, Drink or FMCG but more importantly a passion for food and food trends would help you understand what they do and why they do it.
  • You must be able to demonstrate experience of implementing change, creating new process and re-structuring teams to achieve maximum efficiencies.
  • Finally, team culture is paramount – you will be energetic, passionate with a warm working style and the ability to build strong internal relationships.
