If you take job satisfaction from leading others and you enjoy staff development and mentoring, then this role as Executive Chef in a growing café restaurant brand on the outskirts of London, could be the perfect calling.

Serving breakfast and lunch (closed evenings) and with home delivery to boot, the new role of Executive Chef is one of inspiration and influence for a team that already love their jobs. A full complement of staff on all sites (six Head Chefs, and 40 BOH staff over seven sites), supported by a crack team of CPU Chefs and a truly innovative Head of Food, you’ll be joining a team of stars. But we are after some glue, to bring them all together and bind them forever - That’s you!

Soon to open their eighth site, this business’s growth has been impressive, even throughout the pandemic, where they pivoted successfully their dark-kitchen menu delivery service. Now, it’s the role of a new Exec Chef to take the reins for a superb multi-site operation.

Liaising with the Head of Food to ensure all recipes and new menu innovations are created on-site to precise requirements. You’ll be key in the personal development of all Head Chefs and their brigades from Berkhamsted to Banstead. With new openings planned, on-going recruitment, training, and supporting a range of skill-sets joining every brigade you’ll see it from all sides.

Effective communication and numerical skills are a given in the kitchen, but we’re looking for you to bring all of your soft skills, leadership qualities and organisation to the party too, as they bring brand new menus to launch.

You’ll also be conducting competitor benchmarking, alongside current and future trend analysis. Research in the field! You see, it’s not all Chef whites and clogs, you’ll get to stroll around in your brogues and blazer too, calling it work!

We want you to conduct the work ethic and correct attitudes for all the kitchens across the small group. As part of this you’re the bridge linking the CPU to each site. It requires all of your experience and skill (we’re expecting an abundance of both) as BOH and FOH take your direction for planning and training with new menu launches.
