Bringing Michelin starred food to the masses with your creativity is a dream role for any Development Chef. This is your opportunity to work with a brand that is planning for the long term.

Having had a review of their operations since last summer, this restaurant group has now been heavily backed by an investment company who are looking to revolutionise the offering. And that’s where you come in.

This role is for an Executive Chef to bring real creativity whilst considering scalability and commerciality. Working with both internal and external stakeholders within Marketing, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Central Production for sites and the home delivery service.

In this position you will be responsible for the menu offerings. It's not about training the brigades at site, but much more on what that offering looks, tastes and smells like. This opportunity sees you bringing the inspiration from France to this brand’s loyal, and growing customer base. With a strong reputation, you will leverage what has been a success for nearly 20 years and take the seasonal menus to another level.

The NPD and EPD for the menus and the home range will be meeting the ambitions of “Michelin starred food for the masses”. Providing an all-day offer for all occasions.

You will also act as brand ambassador through marketing channels, recipe videos, exhibitions, cooking demonstrations and media interviews.

For this opportunity you will have;

  • Menu Development experience within either retail and/or hospitality
  • Senior Chef experience within high-end restaurants
  • Experience of managing stakeholder expectations and working collaboratively across departments
  • Negotiation experience with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Experience of taking menu concepts through testing, trialling and scaling up
  • Presentation skills
