Data Engineer, Berkshire

I am working with a global food business who are on the lookout for a Data Engineer based out of the Berkshire region.

Do you want to work with one of the world’s leading food manufacturing businesses who are growing rapidly?

I am working with them to hire a Data Engineer, through ODDA this company delivers insights across its whole ecosystem to give power to the business by having the correct data, tools, and amenities so they can make the right choices by both the company and the consumers.

You will be working with cutting edge technical solutions as well as practicing some already existing programmes.

Ideally you will have experience in the following:-

• SAP HANA
• SQL
• Some form or scripting language i.e. Python
• API Consumption
• ETL Tooling
• SAP ECC

And SAP APO is a big plus!

Ideally, you will have some form of background with in FMCG, however this isn’t essential.

Your day-to-day:–

• You will be designing, developing, and maximising data architecture and pipelining to adhere to ETL principles and business objectives
• Solve complex data problems
• Create and provide solutions so the team can improve productivity
• Mentoring junior members of the team
• Define and execute the Analytics Data Engineering roadmap (and work with enterprise BI to enhance the data lake and a real-time reporting environment for operations)

Ideally you will have a masters degree in computer science.
