My client is looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Project Manager to help them become a world-class operation, this is a multi-site role based in the East of England.
Your team works with Operations and Technology to come up with solutions to customer and operational problems.
You will form part of the senior leadership team on-site, your role as part of this team will be to standardise and improve processes, remove wastes, improve on time in full experience (OTIF) and champion Continuous Improvement.
Day to day you will be responsible for
- Owning and managing critical projects within the operations – this will include project plan, lines of communication, stakeholder relationships and KPI’s
- You will work hand in hand with the Operations team to understand what they feel are the issues, opportunities and then come up with solutions to implement
- Review processes and systems to improve OTIF, efficiency and employee engagement
- Ensure the senior leadership team are kept updated
This role is a 6-month contract, but there is real opportunity for this to be extended or a permanent role offered due to the rapid growing nature of the business. If you apply you must have worked as part of the operational excellence team in a food manufacturing, FMCG, e-commerce environment.
You must have managed projects from start to end including time frames and communication with the relevant stakeholders.
