Compliance Manager, Warwickshire

Start date: Asap
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus Benefits and Discounts
If Quality and Compliance are your passion, you love to drive a culture of Technical excellence and want to be part of an innovative business...
That Christmas present you have been promising yourself now for months, years even is now here - your new job opportunity!!
And what an opportunity! I get to recruit for a lot of Compliance and Quality roles, many very similar, day to day, somewhat repetitive...not this one! This is different to food manufacturing, but pace, complexity and demand-wise ever so similar.
Think about the biggest factory you may have worked in and triple it! This company is an ever-growing, multi-national, award-winning business with new facilities popping up over the country. It doesn't directly manufacture, so from a food safety and compliance point of view it is not high risk, it is all low risk, so at first thought you might think..."Boring!" but no...from a compliance point of view you have over 58,000 products to contend with, an awful lot of autonomy to do your job well, and numerous projects to get involved in, this is far from humdrum!
We require someone with technical food knowledge, gravitas, influencing skills and the ability to build relationships, if you have these you will thrive! You will be working with a supportive team who can work cross-functionally helping one another in their roles, they are passionate and loyal. This isn't a role where you will be micro-managed, your time is your own, your day, varied and diverse, so you must be able to work autonomously and take pride in all you do.
In return, the business continues to expand and widen its remit into new markets, and you will be given projects to lead or be involved in, with influencing ability. Projects could include; new distribution sites, warehouse builds, brand new technologies - the sky really is the limit! Yes there is the day to day, the audit schedules, micro result reading and data reporting, third party audits for services suppliers, working with environmental health and regulatory bodies, but this business offers so much more!
General responsibilities will include: analysing micro results, keeping abreast of FIR regulations and compliance, systems and legislation, HACCP, Auditing - internal and services.
You will support compliance and auditing functions both on this site and for other group sites, including possible new builds! The key to this role is being able to manage time and manage relationships with key stake holders, having faith in your technical expertise and being able to push back and influence changes and put Quality first.
This is immediately available, apply today!
