£31,000 - £45,000 per annum plus Bonus

As a Continuous Improvement Coordinator in this food manufacturing business you will play a key role in the deployment of business improvement activities across the site. Reporting to the Operations & Lean Manager you will be responsible for day to day implementation of Continuous Improvement projects aimed at improving OEE, reducing wastage and labour, working towards World Class Manufacturing standards. You will help to implement and embed CI principles, building the teams on-going capabilities.

Your expertise in Lean Manufacturing projects will be called upon in selecting the right tools for each project and you will benefit from divisional best practice to guide and develop your own skills. Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver day to day continuous improvement projects
  • Train team members in foundation level CI tools
  • Monitor business performance, generating insight and action improvement plans
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment such as food manufacturing or broader FMCG / consumer goods is important to be able to demonstrable previous projects.

Experience needed:

  • Implementing CI projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to deliver training and ongoing coaching
