Refreshing new opportunity in Drinks Development. You’ll be joining a successful business with a rich heritage and leading brands.

Here you’ll be developing innovative concepts across a range of high-profile drinks brands. You’ll be responsible for growing a catalogue of new products for the UK and international markets.

It’s a hands-on role, developing new formulations in the lab and creating accurate recipes and costings. You will be working on innovative development projects with a focus on health, sustainability, and natural ingredients. This will involve working with suppliers to seek out new ingredients and processes to gain the competitive edge. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and ownership of your projects from concept to launch.

You will work with co-manufacturing partners and internal production sites to take new concepts through factory trials to launch. You’ll be the voice of R&D, working with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive projects forward.

On average you could expect to spend three days on site in the office/development lab and a couple of days homeworking. There is a competitive benefits package which includes a 10% bonus and enhanced matched pension scheme.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in liquid formulation in food or drink manufacturing. You’ll have taken concepts from initial brief through to successful launch following a critical path. A working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice is required and experience of Sensory Evaluation would be an advantage.
