This could be the perfect role for an Account Executive or Commercial Executive to step up in Account Management with a grocery retail customer.
As a Commercial Executive, Account Executive or Sales Administrator, you may be looking for a step up to Account Management with retail customers. This is a fantastic role as Account Manager for someone that is looking for greater autonomy within grocery retail whilst also benefiting from fantastic support from senior members of the commercial team.
The business is a leading supplier of fresh food products in to all major grocery retail customers. Offering multi-category products, they have built an enviable reputation within their sector and with senior retail buyers.
Responsibilities for the role:
- Analysing data including daily orders and responding appropriately
- Create and nurture relationships with stakeholders both internal and external
- Weekly reporting and forecasting
- Managing annual and long-term customers planning
- Build customer relationships through customer visits
- Act as project lead on customer management
- Supporting and managing NPD presentations to the customer
To be successful in this Account Manager position you will have experience in Food FMCG – ideally chilled and fresh but other categories will be considered.
You must have experience of working with retail or foodservice customers.
You must be passionate about the food industry and keen to develop a sales and account management career.
Also you must work well under pressure, be able to demonstrate the ability to work as a team and have excellent planning and organisational skills.
