Focus and Food Innovation Solutions (FIS) held a joint event for budding Development Chefs in January. A real mix of over 20 Chefs attended from all parts of the industry. It was great to see everyone sharing their experiences and to get to know our candidates so much better.
We had a few short talks where the guys at FIS explained about what they do and the life of a Development Chef. We heard first-hand about the challenges in moving out of the restaurant kitchen and into NPD, along with the huge benefits it can bring for your career and work/life balance.
