We are recruiting for a Head of HR which will be a new role, working with the Site management team you will also work closely with Group to drive your HR agenda
This is a dynamic, demanding, high energy business in the North Yorkshire Area.
This is a key new appointment and will be focused on increasing the profitability of the Business through people development.
Key Agenda objectives include:
Business Strategy – formulating the HR Business Strategy for the site with the Business Executive Team. Responsible for developing and agreeing the longer term Business HR Plan which is aligned to both the Business Strategy and the Group HR Strategy.
Change Management – lead and drives significant change across the Business to deliver business improvement through its People.
Leadership Development – responsible for the development of the Business Executive Team with the Managing Director ensuring that this team has the skills and experience to deliver the Business Strategy.
Organisation Design & Development – constantly reviewing the Business structure to ensure it meets the current and longer term objectives.
Talent Management – own the talent management process across the Business.
Culture – defines the current and future Business culture with the Business Executive Team and develops action plans to drive towards the future culture.
Employee Relations – manages the employee relations climate across the Business ensuring that all employees are engaged with the business. Drive changes to the ER climate to achieve Business objectives. Ensures that people practices and processes comply with relevant employment legislation.
Person Specification includes:
- High performing individual with a strong and resilient personal style
- Experienced HR generalist who has already operated for a number of years at Exec Team level
- Background in manufacturing / FMCG environment
- Must have a Business focused view of HR – bed rocked in practical achievable solutions
- Able to operate within an independent business unit and be part of the Group
- Able to inspire change and be a catalyst for new approaches / ways of working
- Excellent coaching, consultancy, facilitation and presentation skills.
