Executive search

To give you an understanding of our methodology.

Focus primarily targets/headhunts passive candidates – those who are performing well in their jobs right now but could be persuaded by an opportunity.  For each search assignment we keep the search broad and deep, searching across all Food Categories and Sectors. 

We handle each Executive Search in a professional manner.  We act as Ambassadors for Clients disclosing agreed company information to any screened and deemed suitable candidates at the agreed appropriate time.

We offer an NDA service to ensure all confidential roles are managed appropriately.

Market mapping

We are advocates in the market making approaches, validating suitability, and selling the opportunity with passion. We will develop a full market map of the sector to target and approach candidates who have great reputations with customers, convincing them as to the scale and scope of the career opportunity on offer.

Salary benchmarking

As part of the Search project, from our market mapping process above, we can compile a salary benchmarking report for the assigned Executive role.

Interviewing

As part of this Search Project, we will interview all candidates virtually/face to face and present candidate CVs/profiles to meet the agreed project plan and timescales. We come with extensive experience of interviewing Executives from the Sector and know what good looks like.

Psychometric testing and personality profiling

We offer a service to assess behaviours, team fit and dynamics. We can assess candidates utilising tools offered through our partnership arrangements with Thomas PPA, GIA, SHL OPQ and Hogan.
Our Consultants are trained assessors in the above tools and can facilitate feedback.

Project plan

We receive in excess of 1,000 new applications every week for the assignments we are managing. But for an Executive Search Project, we will need to tap into the passive candidate market and utilise the 300,000 candidates we have on our own Database.

We will develop a joint project plan that outlines agreed timescales and a plan to work to. We recognise that an Executive appointment may impact on others within the business and therefore we will manage each project with flexibility and a degree of pragmatism.

Exclusivity

It is our preferred route to work only on an exclusive basis on such a project as this. This will enable us to position and represent each Client brand accurately within the marketplace.
