Regional Sales Manager for one of the world's leading catering equipment businesses.

Using your chef skills across a range of kitchens, from large hotel banqueting brigades to tiny teams in local brasseries, you could bring a wealth of knowledge to this role. As Regional Sales Manager you will represent a well-respected and trusted brand that has been a reliable servant to Chefs up and down the country for decades. It's a piece of kit that not only assists and eases the stress for many using it, but also creates efficiencies and quality consistently better than any other on the market. Bold statement, but it's been proven many times. The question is, can you also improve this business and add real value by joining them and looking after the North West?!

This position has you working with dealers and distributors as you consult with end users of the equipment, exploring the real, beneficial solutions to their kitchen needs. You will look after a region covering the Scottish border, Cumbria and Lancashire. A driving license is clearly needed, but so is a sound understanding of the region, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and self-motivation.

If you have a commercial sense of how a kitchen operates most effectively. And if you are capable of planning your schedule to reach as many people as possible, demonstrating and consulting on what will work for that particular kitchen - you could create your own business within a business. You will then put all those years behind the stoves to real use, in a company you could realistically retire in.

For this position you have to have entrepreneurial flair and a genuine desire to do more than merely cook. This role will have you travelling throughout the region and developing strong bonds with your distribution network and customers alike. Whilst you won't be as 'hands-on' in the kitchen on a daily basis as you were, the satisfaction and rewards come when you close the deal, and ensure another kitchen is about to be improved because of your assistance.
