Chocolate éclairs, cookies, cream cakes, donuts and desserts in general... all devilishly delicious. As a Pastry Chef you get to make these guilty pleasures for a living! WOW!!!

How about making these for the entire nation? From your own recipe book through to the shop shelves via a state of the art factory you can have a little piece of you within some the country's most loved restaurants, QSRs and Food To Go outlets.

The job of a Pastry Chef requires you to have precision, patience and genuine creativity. Knowing what's delicious in both taste and looks is what you do best. The chance to work as a Development Chef in the cold kitchen here, will have you being daring and exploring excellence - mixing it up and putting your sugar to the test.

You'll be working with some of the most successful brands on the high-street in casual dining, quick service restaurants and retail. delivering frozen, chilled and ambient confectionery products you can bring all of your culinary creativity to the table, no question. We would encourage you to create classics with twists and bring brand new innovations to the tasting panel... here you can have your cake and eat it.

Whilst having your evenings and weekends to yourself is a bonus for any chef job, the role of the Development Chef will have you going to bed and waking up thinking about your product concepts and the challenges you face to get these great ideas to the nation for all to enjoy. That's half the point though isn't it... sweet treats for all. Within this NPD team you'll guide the production of exciting éclairs and delicious donut innovations, inspired by the food trends from far-a-field. Flying out of the factory (no pies though!) you will know what is commercially viable and whats a pipe dream.
