Job Description

Working as a Chef has been a challenging, yet rewarding career for you so far, no doubt. The role of a Demonstration Chef should not be confused with an easy ride compared to that of working the stoves in a busy restaurant. On the contrary, it offers its own, distinctive and demanding pressures as it coordinates with the sales team for this successful catering equipment business. Here we offer a position that has you on the road visiting a variety of customers from branded Restaurants, Cafes, Supermarkets and start-up F&B businesses all over the North West of England, illustrating in the flesh/metal, creative cooking made so much simpler!

This position will have you demonstrating innovative heavy catering equipment to key decision makers who are seeking to update or refresh the essential ovens of their kitchens. The capital expenditure on such kit means you are responsible for a slick and professional execution of these first impressions. Interacting with prospective customers should be joyful and exciting, and for the right candidate here, it will be rewarding too, as you work with the technology to showcase its incredible functions and benefits, specific to that business.

The key areas we seek from any applicant is the ability to drive, cook and understand the market they are working. Would you have the commercial acumen to differentiate between a School canteen, fine dine restaurant or supermarket deli counter? Can you present and cook in an articulate and engaging fashion? Can you organise your own diary, route plan and communicate effectively?
